Case
Erecting
When non-stop
productivity is the order of the day, you can't do
better than a MARQ. Our High Performance Erectors have
been refined and perfected for over 20 years, and
incorporate the features and capabilities that set the
pace for the competition. They're available in
standard, medium, and large frame models to give you
the flexibility to meet all your packaging
requirements. MARQ's HPE-NS New Style Case Erector
offers even more productivity and features a bundle
stack hopper for easy loading. • Tape sealing, glue sealing
or both•
Anti-jam feature virtually eliminates case jams in the
erecting station• Can run RSC, HSC, FOL, or
AFM case styles (right or left hand)• All parts produced
domestically and available locally• Comes with a Direct Logic
PLC; other PLCs available
Case
Vibrators
Here's the perfect machine
for packers of volume filled or bagged products. This
equipment incorporates vibration principles developed
by the University of California, and MARQ has adapted
the concept to a variety of industries. The vibration
process eliminates any in-transit settling, allowing
shippers to reduce case height by up to 2" in some
instances, resulting in corrugated savings of up to
10% and increasing the number of cases per pallet
load. •

MARQ's
random sealers perform some rather complicated
functions as they quickly and automatically seal
random size cases. Yet these machines remain true
to the MARQ ideal: simplicity of design and ease of
maintenance. The self-contained hydraulic system
provides carriage height adjustment without the use
of air, gives accurate case sensing, a positive
seal, and faster response to case height changes.
Case height pre-sensing helps reduce movement of
the top carriage and allows a uniform case height
to be run without unnecessary carriage movement.
The HPR is available in single station and dual
station models to accommodate virtually any
application.
• Case-centering shafts sized to tolerances of less than 1/1000 in. • Tape sealing, glue sealing, or combination • Self contained hydraulic system • Heavy duty welded steel, zinc plating, industrial quality paint • Single or dual station design • Top and bottom, top only or bottom only sealing |
Tray Formers |
|
MARQ's
trayformers have always been first class machines.
But as the packaging industry responds to
escalating environmental concerns and the recycling
issue, this is equipment whose time has definitely
come. That's because the HPT Trayformer is the
perfect compliment to a packaging system that
incorporates shrink-wrapping, a method that readily
lends itself to recycling. The machines form and
seal side slotted or end slotted trays and can be
adapted to handle other styles, as well. These hot
melt glue sealers can handle from 5 to 50 trays per
minute.
• 4" tubular steel frame • Hand wheel adjustable for quick, easy tray size changes • Easy-to-load ratchet feed hopper |
Uniform Case Sealers |
|
These
machines have been in the MARQ lineup since the
beginning, and incorporate a design so well thought
out and executed that there's been no need to
change it. Ruggedness and long life are built in;
maximum accessibility is achieved with a practical,
open design; operation and maintenance are made
easy, efficiency and productivity are improved.
Though the HPA machines are highly adaptable and
versatile, a wide range of options are available
for specialized applications.
• Tape, glue, or combination sealing • Simple quick changeover from one case size to another • Heavy gauge steel, zinc plating, industrial enamel finish • Seals a wide variety of corrugated case styles • Flight bar, side belt, side lug or bottom belt case transfer systems • Top and bottom, top only or bottom only sealing |
